The Inter American Press Association is always looking for new ways to reward members. This time we are celebrating the launch of our new website (www.sipiapa.org) with a drawing that will fly the winners to Madrid or pay for their hotel during the upcoming IAPA General Assembly to be held October 3-7.

Who is eligible?
All IAPA members who link our website (www,sipiapa.org) to their online newspapers may enter to win.

How can I participate?
Any member media outlet who is interested in taking part should:
1. Go to http://www.sipiapa.com/banner/reg/?idioma=us;
2. Register your publication;
3. Select and download the banner that meets your website’s technical requirements;
4. Once the banner is configured send an e-mail to [email protected] notifying the exact URL where it has been installed;
5. Publications registered under an IAPA corporate membership may enter individually.

Prizes and drawing:
Winners will be drawn from among participating publications as follows:
1. First prize: round-trip airfare to Madrid on Iberia, the General Assembly’s official airline.
2. Second prize: a five-day stay at the Meliá Castilla Hotel, official venue for the General Assembly.
3. The IAPA Webmaster will review banner configurations to determine whether the media outlet’s participation in the draw is authorized.
4. The draw will be held at the IAPA offices in Miami at noon on Monday, September 15 and the results will be published on our Web site and reported in an announcement e-mailed to the organization’s members.

Winners:
a) In the event of being selected a winner, the representative on record may re-assign his/her right to travel or enjoy the free stay as long as the media outlet’s executives name someone to replaceme him/her. The publication is the official contestant, not the person listed as representative on the contest registration form.

b) For the prize to be awarded, the representative and/or executives of the winning media outlet must sign a letter agreeing that the linking banner will remain posted for minimum one year. The letter should be sent to the IAPA offices in Miami by fax (1-305-635-2272) or by e-mail ([email protected]).

Many thanks for your participation and we hope that you are one of the lucky winners.
