WHEREAS
more than a year has passed since the government, and particularly factions of the armed forces, sponsored and facilitated the seizure of Canal 2 Frecuencia Latina television
the legal prosecution of its majority shareholder, Baruch Ivcher, has blatantly increased, to involve even his wife and daughters
THE IAPA GENERAL ASSEMBLY RESOLVES
to urge the government to end the seizure of Canal 2, in itself a flagrant violation of the freedom of expression, and for this purpose annul the directorial-level resolution that stripped Baruch Ivcher of his Peruvian citizenship, and to halt legal action being taken against him and members of his family.
