WHEREAS
prior censorship violates freedom of expression
the Honduran Congress has approved a Law of Author's Rights, which has provisions establishing censorship on radio and television programs
the Honduran Constitution guarantees freedom of the press and expression
THE 49TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE IAPA RESOLVES
to reject the provisions which establish prior censorship in Honduras, because they violate freedom
to urge the Honduran legislators to eliminate these provisions from the recently approved Law of Author's Rights.
