Mexico reports journalist murders: 11 journalists killed

The proposal was given to the government to harden the sanctions and implement the legal mechanisms to avoid the prescription of pending cases of crimes against journalists in the country. Roberto Rock did not forget to indicate that at the beginning of the current six-year period (began in 2006), the government of president of Mexico, Felipe Calderón Hinojosa, gave importance to the task to protect the work of the communicators through the system of early warning. Rock, who detailed in his report the situation journalists and businesses of communication live above all in the north of Mexico, declared as positive the creation of the Special District Attorney"s Office of Mexico for the Crimes against Press Freedom.
