The Hilton Reforma Hotel will be the venue of the IAPA’s 72nd General Assembly to be held October 13-17, 2016, the Association’s executive director Ricardo Trotti, reported.
The hotel is located in the Mexican capital’s downtown area, just 20 minutes from the international airport.
Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto has confirmed his participation in the General Assembly, which is the fifth to be held by the IAPA in Mexico City in its more than 70 years’ history.
The Host Committee is headed by the newspaper El Universal which this year is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its founding.
The first IAPA General Assembly to be held in the Mexican capital was in 1942 and the most recent in 2006.
