The IAPA's half-year meeting in Medellín, Colombia, will take place from April 13 to 15. The newspaper El Colombiano, whose general manager is Luis Miguel de Bedout, together with other media and the Colombian Association of Media (AMI), make up the Host Committee.
It is the first time that the IAPA will hold a meeting in Medellín. In 2007, the half-year meeting was held in Cartagena de Indias, which also hosted the general assembly in 1985. Previously, the IAPA held its annual meeting twice in 1946 and 1960 in Bogotá.
The IAPA began holding half-year meetings in 1981.
