Luis Gabriel Cano (1996-1997) El Espectador, Bogotá, Colombia
Colombian journalist, was president and editor of El Espectador, Bogotá. Winner of the Golden Pen Award of Freedom (1990) for his writings on drug trafficking. He obtained the journalist award María Moors Cabot in 1969. He died in 2010. His brother Guillermo, also editor of the newspaper, was murdered in 1986 by drug traffickers.
