The meeting will be held March 29-31 at a time of the year in which the skies are completely clear and temperatures oscillate between 87 and 74 degrees Fahrenheit (31 and 23 degrees Celsius).
The IAPA's half-yearly meeting in Cartagena is the second time that for two consecutive years the Association holds this meeting in the same country. This year the IAPA met in April in Medellín.
Eleven years ago, in 2007, the Midyear Meeting also was held in that beautiful Colombian Caribbean coastal city. That meeting had an attendance of more than 600 people, among them Bill Gates and Nobel Prize for Literature Gabriel García Márquez
