Miami (January 15, 2019) .- The Inter American Press Association (SIP) confirmed that the deadline to submit applications for its annual journalistic excellence contest will end on January 30, 2019 at midnight. There will be no extension.
Aimed at journalists and media in Latin America and the Caribbean, in addition to Spain, the contest with 13 categories aims to promote the quality of content and its impact on society. Before sending their work, it is recommended that the contestants consult the Regulation to avoid confusion about the requirements.
A jury, made up of members of the IAPA Awards Committee, will choose the winner in each of the categories. The first prize in each of them is paid with US $ 2,000 (two thousand US dollars). The award ceremony will be held in October 2019 during the 75th General Assembly of the SIP in Miami, Florida.
