The Publications Center seeks to convert the Press Institute of SIP in mandatory consultation center for those seeking, through the Internet, academic and practical information on the practice of journalism and the management of print media. Mission and Objectives:

  1. Produce new publications Press Institute in all subjects of the newspaper industry in the print media, newsroom level, management and production.
  2. Keep online, digitized, all publications Press Institute and the SIP, including periodic as Notisip and closing time, according to a simple classification and adequate to cover all projects of the institution.
  3. Provide references, books and other institutions and publishers dedicated to all issues of the newspaper industry, with a simple search ranking and returned together with links to their original sites.
  4. Highlight bibliographical new industry and provide a list of publishers and institutions that offer news publications.
  5. Attracting publishers and publishing companies in the industry, to share their news, press releases, news and commentary with the Publications Center.
  6.  Have a group of collaborators to write, comment, criticize or to interview authors of books and publications.
  7. Publish, translate and order - with proper authorization - interesting articles from the newspaper industry published in academic journals and institutional issues with consistency.
  8. Find ways to bring users Publications Center through advertising campaigns, marketing, direct mail and advertisements in the SIP, as well as promotional events IAPA Press Institute and all its affiliated projects.
  9. Generate profits from the sale of publications and online ad sales.
  10. Keep a list of full scholarships Faculty of Communication, journalism courses in media and academic institutions, master's programs in journalism newspapers throughout the hemisphere.
