The meeting, held October 12-16, brought together more than 500 delegates from 25 countries who, on the final day of the activities, ratified the country-by-country reports, resolutions and conclusions of the meeting, which on this occasion focused on specific issues in Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Panama and Venezuela, as well as access to information, violence and the murder of journalists in the region.

The IAPA also in a resolution thanked Brazil for its support in the organization of the General Assembly, and the event’s sponsors and the panelists who took part in the various activities.
