Former President of Tribune Publishing, publisher of the Chicago Tribune. He won the Pulitzer Prize for his editorial notes. Graduate in Journalism, Northwestern University, and Doctor of Law, Yale University. Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He was Director of the Robert R. McCormick Foundation. Author of reference in journalism with "Valores Periodisticos" and "Qué está pasando con la noticia?"He died in 2016.
