Miami (June 20, 2025) — Under the theme “Reinventing the Future of Media,” SIPConnect 2025 will bring together over 30 experts and leaders from the Americas and Europe in Miami from July 15 to 18 to discuss the challenges and opportunities of journalism in an era defined by technological disruption and digital transformation.

Organized by the Inter American Press Association (IAPA), the event has become a key forum for exploring innovation, artificial intelligence, and sustainability in media, with a diverse and practical focus.

The conference is generously sponsored by Google News Initiative, Knight Foundation, Protecmedia, TV Azteca, Infobae, Telemundo, Telecom Argentina, Organización Editorial Mexicana (OEM), Xalok, Hermanos Castillo, The Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center at FIU, and EFE News Agency. The program will also highlight content personalization and audience loyalty—especially among younger readers—with presentations by Claudio Cabrera (VP of Audience, The Athletic), Aldana Vales (Director of Audience Experience, Gannett/USA Today Network), Marta Planells (Telemundo), and Ramin Beheshti (The News Movement).
