Global perspectives on disinformation at the virtual summit starting next Wednesday

The program for the 2025 Global Summit on Disinformation, to be held virtually on September 17 and 18, is now available. It includes conferences, panels, live demonstrations, roundtable discussions, and project rounds.

This international meeting brings together more than 30 global leaders from institutions and organizations at the forefront of the fight against disinformation, who will share experiences, research, and innovative strategies to address this global challenge that affects democracy, information, and public trust.

Some of the highlights include: Keynote address by Nina Jankowicz (American Sunlight Project); Global Panel on Climate Change and Disinformation with UNESCO; and Roundtable on Foreign Information Manipulation (FIMI) with the Atlantic Council, Doublethink Lab, and Cambridge Lab.

Access is 100% virtual and free, with simultaneous translation in English and Portuguese.

This event is jointly organized by the Inter-American Press Association (IAPA), Proyecto Descongío (Argentina), and Fundación para el Periodismo (Bolivia).
