WHEREAS, the complaint filed by journalist Alfonso Lessa over threats received - including an attempt to provoke an automobile accident - as at least one type of direct warning, which is unusual in the country
WHEREAS, the journalist filed a complaint with the Interior Ministry and informed the Attorney General's Office about the incidents
THE 78TH IAPA GENERAL ASSEMBLY RESOLVES
To ask the Ministry of the Interior and the Attorney General's Office to expedite the corresponding investigations, and to take all necessary measures to guarantee the journalist's safety.
