Such acts must be investigated promptly and punished harshly THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE IAPA RESOLVES to insist that authorities in Paraguay intensify the search for Galeano until they find him and solve the Medina Velázquez and Leguizamón cases, as well as providing guarantees and security for journalists in the face of the new wave of crimes and threats from organized crime apparently in complicity with officials and policemen.
