INTERNAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS
IAPA resolutions constitute the essence of what the Association wants to tell the citizens and officials
of the Americas the IAPA's member news organizations are the leading source of information in the hemisphere it is unfortunate that the resolutions do not always have the desired effect, because many IAPA members do not publicize them adequately
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE IAPA RESOLVES
to urge IAPA members to publicize the Association's resolutions, particularly those of general interest,
appropriately and in accordance with their own journalistic criteriato instruct the Secretariat to distribute the resolutions to the members promptly and effectively, except
for internal resolutions, which need to be treated with discretion.
