to declare to the Cuban government its energetic condemnation of the systematic persecution of independent journalists, who only aim to inform on news events within the country to demand that the government annul the statutes, that are in violation of the most fundamental human rights and muzzle journalists, and instead grant independent journalists reasonable room in
their own country to carry out their work without fear of losing their liberty or of being persecuted or deported.
