in the Dominican Republic, the Central Electoral Board ordered Channel 6 off the air for 12 hours and later allowed it to renew broadcasts, but only in the Board's nationwide hookup
in Colombia, the National Television Commission (CNT) ordered television news programs to refrain from broadcasting "unofficial information that incites violations of public order," though it later reversed its decision
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE IAPA RESOLVES
to urge the Central Electoral Board and the CNT to refrain from such practices, as they conflict with the people's right to have full, efficient and prompt access to information.
