Brazilian journalist, was Director-President of Jornal Correio da Manha, Rio de Janeiro. Permanent promoter of activities related to the plastic arts, co-founder of the Museum of Modern Art. An pedestrian viaduct that gives access to the Museum, was built and baptized with his name in memory tribute with the name of the journalist. He died in 1963.
