12 de mayo de 2025 - 15:28

Miami (May 12, 2025) – The Inter American Press Association (IAPA) today announced the opening of the registration period for SIPConnect 2025, its annual conference on media digital transformation, which will take place July 16 – 18, 2025, at the Intercontinental Hotel in the City of Doral, Miami-Dade County.

The event will bring together media executives, editors, entrepreneurs, developers, and experts from across the Americas to discuss emerging trends, monetization models, artificial intelligence integration, innovation strategies, sustainability, and digital storytelling.

SIPConnect 2025 will feature panel discussions with best-practice case studies, hands-on workshops, and interactive sessions, all in an environment designed for learning and networking. Simultaneous translation in English and Spanish will be available for all presentations.

In the context of rapid transformation, media organizations face critical challenges such as sustainability and the urgent need to diversify revenue streams to ensure long-term viability.

Moreover, the rise of artificial intelligence tools presents both challenges and opportunities: raising questions about ethics, accuracy, and its impact on journalism, while also offering new possibilities to optimize workflows, personalize content, and expand informational reach.

SIPConnect 2025 will provide a platform to explore concrete solutions to these challenges, promote strategic alliances, and strengthen the digital capabilities of the media ecosystem.

Registration and hotel booking are now open through the following link.

Now in its eleventh edition, SIPConnect continues to establish itself as a vital forum for sharing innovative solutions to the media industry’s most pressing challenges.

The IAPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to defending and promoting freedom of the press and expression in the Americas. It comprises more than 1,300 publications from the western hemisphere and is based in Miami, Florida, United States.
