Miami (May 4, 2023)- The Inter American Press Association (IAPA) reiterated its goal of distinguishing media outlets, executives, and institutions in four new categories within the framework of sustainable journalism. The new categories are Transformative Sustainability, Digital Transformation, Executive of the Year, and Great Friend of the Press. For more information, click here.
The new categories complement 15 other categories within the annual Excellence in Journalism competition, which includes the Grand Press Freedom Award. Reporters, photographers, columnists, infographers, videographers, cartoonists, and journalism students can register their entries until June 30 this year.
The IAPA contest, in all its categories, is open to journalists and media from the Americas and Spain. It is not necessary to be a member of the IAPA.
Regarding the awards for entrepreneurs and executives, anyone can nominate a candidate by fulfilling the requirements.
