The Host Committee is chaired by Luciano Pascoe, executive director of ADN40 and general director of Editorial Strategy of Grupo Salinas. It comprises IAPA's leading Mexican media members, including the digital native media outlet La Silla Rota, led by Roberto Rock, IAPA's first vice president.
The registration form for the 79th General Assembly can be downloaded here. Participants can make hotel reservations here at the Hilton Reforma, the event venue.
The program will include workshops on successful experiences with digital audiences, new revenues, visits, and social events at emblematic sites in the Mexican capital. On November 8, before the official program of the assembly, an optional seminar will be held free of charge for those registered for the General Assembly at the Universidad de la Libertad.
The IAPA will celebrate several historical milestones in November. It will mark the 30th anniversary of the Declaration of Chapultepec and the fifth anniversary of the Declaration of Salta. It will also recall its origins, from 1923 when the mandate to create a media meeting arose during the Fifth American Conference in Santiago de Chile.
IAPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to defending and promoting freedom of the press and expression in the Americas. It comprises more than 1,300 publications from the western hemisphere; and is based in Miami, Florida, United States.
