IAPA elected new directors and authorities

Miami (October 26, 2021) - The Inter American Press Association (IAPA) elected new officers and renewed a third of its Board of Directors during its 77th General Assembly, which concluded last Friday.

These are the new authorities that will accompany President Jorge Canahuati, Grupo OPSA, Honduras until October 2022: First Vice President, Michael Greenspon, The New York Times, United States; Second Vice President, Roberto Rock, La Silla Rota, Mexico; Treasurer, Juan Pablo Illanes, El Mercurio, Santiago, Chile and Secretary, Gabriela Vivanco, La Hora, Quito, Ecuador.

These are the new 20 directors of the Board (60 members) for a three-year term (2021-2024):

In addition, Ricardo Trotti will continue to serve as executive director of the organization.
